Camp : Kem Palas, Yan, Kedah (This is a 3 days and 2 nights camp).
Date : 7 August 2009 - 9 August 2009
1st day : Everyone of us gathered at the ' Padang PALAPES ' on 9:00 a.m. Last badge students were divided into eight camps. We arrived there at around 1:00 P.M. We were divided into three Companies and each Company are then seperated into different Platuns such as 1 , 2, 3 and 4. At night, around 2:00 a.m. , we have a jungle trekking. There was real dark as we could not use torch light. It was really adventurous to me. I was guided by them and was foced to believed them as we could not see anything. Before the jungle trekking , we learnt a few enjoyable dances.
2nd day : We were participating in a few talks on this day. After the talk , we have another jungle trekking. This time we have to dive or swim in order to go into the jungle. We have a presentation in the night after having our dinner. On the other hand, we also need to prepare our dinner ourselves. They provided us a chicken, cabbage , matches and other utensils.
3rd day : We have some aerobic exercises (senamrobik) in the morning, followed by a talk. We left the camp at around 3:00 p.m.. We arrived school at 5:30 P.M.
How do I feel during the camp?
All the seniors over there are very friendly, they treat us nicely. For an example, I'm a vegetarian student, they asked the residents cook vegetarian food for me so that I have enough food to eat and have energy to join the activities. I have learnt much through the camp such as how to flare up the fire by using charcoals and matches.
